When it comes to modelling, looks are just everything. Alina Baikova is a Ukrainian model who is praised for her amazing green-coloured eyes as well as her long, lean legs. Other recognizable features are her beautiful dark brown hair and her ideal height of 5’11”. Alina was born in 1989 in Ukraine and kick-started her modelling career when she signed with a modelling agency known as Next Models. In September 2010, she debuted at the spring Carolina Herrera show in New York and also walked for Isaac Mizrahi, Marc Jacobs, Elise Overland, Ohne Titel, and Ralph Lauren. In the same month, she walked the spring Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferre, and Sportmax shows in Milan.
On October 2010, Alina walked the spring Christian Dior, Hermes, John Galliano, Lanvin, and Giambattista Valli shows in Paris. On July 2011, she opened the fall for Christian Dior couture show in Paris.
On November 2010, Alina appeared in editorials for interview and Bon. In January 2011, she appeared in the Japanese Numero editorial and was photographed by Kerry Hallihan. On March, styled in Prada, she was featured on the cover of the Australian Vogue and was photographed by Nicole Bentely.
She was one again featured on the cover of Australian Vogue, photographed by Nicole Bentley during the month of November. On May 2012, she appeared in the Spanish Harper’s Bazaar and was photographed by Nagi Sakai. She has also appeared in other editorials such as Marie Claire Italy, Vogue Thailand, Elle, Grazia France, as well as AMICA Italy.
On the spring/summer 2012 shows, Alina appeared on the Catwalk for the Cushnie et Ochs Ellie Tahari and Badgely Mischka in New York as well as Emporio Armani in Milan.
She was selected by the U.S retail chain Express to feature in their fall 2011 advertising campaigns.
Over the years, she has signed on different modelling agencies. They include Fashion Model Management in Milan, Premier Model Management, Next Model Management in New York, UNO Models in Barcelona & Madrid.
The Australian cover girl definitely has a bright future in her modelling career. Its easy to see her confidence and talent especially when she walks down the fashion runways. She is definitely an inspiration to many young girls.
